Paul Ehlers was elected to the Board in 2010, and he currently serves as board president. He has lived in the District since 1993. He and his wife, Lendi, have three children, all LCISD alumni.

BJ Lewis was elected to the Board in 2018. He is a lifelong Lubbock resident, and has lived in the district since 2005. He and his wife, Brittany, have two children.
Trey Strong

Trey Strong was appointed to the Board in 2025. His current term expires in 2026. He has lived in the district since 2005. He and his wife, Mary Katherine, have one son.

Colby Miller was appointed to the Board in 2021. He has lived in the district since 2010. He and his wife, Mitzi, have three children.
Amy Punchard

Amy Punchard was elected to the Board in 2024. Her current term expires in May 2028. She has lived in the district since 2008 and has two children with her husband, Jason.

Mr. Schaffner graduated from Lubbock-Cooper High School in 1999. He and his wife, Shannon, have two daughters enrolled in LCISD.
