BJ Lewis was elected to the Board in 2018. He is a lifelong Lubbock resident, and has lived in the district since 2005. He and his wife, Brittany, have two children.

Amy Punchard was elected to the Board in 2024. Her current term expires in May 2028. She has lived in the district since 2008 and has two children with her husband, Jason.
Colby Miller

Colby Miller was appointed to the Board in 2021. He has lived in the district since 2010. He and his wife, Mitzi, have three children.
Shelbie Nacole

Shelbie Nacole was elected to the board in 2026. Her current term expires in May 2030. She has lived in the district since 2015. She and her husband, Shawn, have three children, one LCISD alumna, one current LCISD student, and one soon-to-be LCISD student.
Koley Schaffner

Mr. Schaffner graduated from Lubbock-Cooper High School in 1999. He and his wife, Shannon, have two daughters enrolled in LCISD.
Trey Strong

Trey Strong was appointed to the Board in 2025. His current term expires in 2026. He has lived in the district since 2005. He and his wife, Mary Katherine, have one son.
